To become an Ubuntero you must either digitally or physically sign a copy of the Ubuntu community's Code of Conduct. Being an Ubuntero is a sign of your commitment to work within the rules of the community.

This guide shows you how to become an Ubuntero by digitally signing the Ubuntu Code of Conduct and uploading the signed file to Launchpad.

Step 1: Log into your Launchpad account.

Step 2: Go to the code of conduct page.

Step 3: Following the on-screen instructions to download the most recent Code of Conduct, then sign it using gpg.

Note: You must import your pgp signature before signing the Code of Conduct.
