Ubuntu package suggestions on project overview pages
-----------------------------------------------------

Launchpad's project directory helps you to find out more about a project, such
as where it tracks its bugs, hosts its code and, in many cases, which are its
related Ubuntu packages.

Now, if Launchpad doesn't know which Ubuntu package is related to the project,
it will suggest likely candidates. If you're logged into Launchpad, you can
accept one of those suggestions, specify another package or mark the project
as not packaged in Ubuntu.

Release number: 10.04
Release date: 4th May 2010

Release announcement

The Launchpad team is proud to announce Launchpad 10.04, released on May 4th
2010!

New this month:

 * Personal Package Archives have twice the disk space
 * Launchpad can automatically generate your project's translation templates
 * Project pages now make it easier to specify the project's Ubuntu package.

Standard PPA size now 2 GiB
----------------------------

We've doubled the standard size of Personal Package Archives to 2 GiB!

You don't need to do anything to start using the increased space: all new
and existing PPAs are are now at least 2 GiB in size.

As you'd expect, this doesn't affect PPAs that are already larger than 2 GiB.

Automatic translation template generation
------------------------------------------

Launchpad can now help prepare your project for translation by automatically
producing template files from the English language strings in your source
code.

Danilo's blog post explains how to set up your project so it's ready for
automatic template generation:
