Taking up an offer of mentoring is a great way to learn the ropes of a project or task.

Members of a team offer to mentor new contributors in fixing a particular bug or working on a specification. If you want to get involved in this team and would appreciate help getting started, click the Mentoring available button to choose something to work on.
