Projects can use Launchpad to make their software, and other files, available for direct download. Types of file that you might find on this page include:

 * code release tarball
 * installer files
 * README or other documentation
 * changelog file
 * release notes.

Files are organised by [[Projects/SeriesMilestonesReleases|series]], which are usually major releases of the project (e.g. Bazaar 1.8).
