Projects can use Launchpad to make their software, and other files, available for direct download. Types of file that you might find on this page include:

• code release tarball
• installer files
• README or other documentation
• changelog file
• release notes.

Files are organised by series, which are usually major releases of the project (e.g. Bazaar 1.8).
