Getting help with Launchpad

If you get stuck or have a question, here are some resources to help you.

Site Maintenance

From time to time, we have to take Launchpad offline for planned maintenance. We aim to reduce the inconvenience of Launchpad being unavailable by scheduling it for Launchpad’s quietest periods. You can find the list of planned outages on our [http://news.launchpad.net/maintenance maintenance page].

You can also subscribe to the [https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/launchpad-users launchpad-users mailing list] or our [http://news.launchpad.net/category/notifications/feed notifications feed] to get alerts of planned maintenance.

Getting involved with Launchpad

If you want to help improve Launchpad, we welcome your comments and suggestions. Email us: feedback@launchpad.net.

You can also get more closely involved:

  • [:BetaTesting:Beta testing Launchpad]: try out new features before everybody else! Beta testers get early access to new features before they are generally available, and automatically use daily builds of the Launchpad service. [:JoiningLaunchpadBetaTesters:Join the beta testing team], we'd love to hear your thoughts!

  • Weekly developer meeting: meet the Launchpad team every Thursday at 18.00 UTC in #launchpad-meeting.

  • [:UsersMeeting:Monthly users meeting]: find out what's coming up, ask your questions and pass your comments to the Launchpad team.

  • Help with Launchpad documentation: add to our [:DocumentationSpecs:list of planned documentation] or choose a guide that you'd like to write. You're also welcome to join the [https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-doc Launchpad Docs] team.
