Overview

You can subscribe to receive updates on the bugs that affect certain contexts in Launchpad. Launchpad sends you these updates by email or as an Atom feed that you can use in your feed reader.

Email notifications

Individual bug notifications

Launchpad automatically sends you emails whenever there's an update to a bug that you've reported, is assigned to you or that you've commented on.

You can manually subscribe to any other public bug in Launchpad by visiting the bug page and clicking Subscribe in the Actions menu.

Projects, packages and distributions

If you're listed as the bug supervisor, or you're a member of a team that is a bug supervisor, for a project you'll automatically receive email about updates to any bugs relating to that project.

You can subscribe to receive notifications by email about:

  • an individual bug
  • a project milestone
  • a project series
  • a project
  • a project group
  • a distribution package
  • a distribution series
  • a distribution.

To receive notifications about an individual bug, click Subscribe to bug in the bug's Actions menu. For any of the other options, click Subscribe to bugmail in the Actions menu on the relevant bugs overview page.
