You can subscribe to receive updates on the bugs that affect certain contexts in Launchpad. Launchpad sends you these updates by email or as an Atom feed that you can use in your feed reader.

== Email notifications ==

The notifications you can receive by email are:

 * an individual bug
 * project milestone
 * project
 * distribution package
 * distribution.

== Atom feeds ==

Find out more in our [:Feeds#bugs:guide to bug feeds].

== Individual bug notifications ==

Launchpad automatically sends you emails whenever there's an update to a bug that you've reported, is assigned to you or that you've commented on.

You can manually subscribe to any other public bug in Launchpad by visiting the bug page and clicking ```Subscribe``` in the ```Actions``` menu.

== Projects, packages and distributions ==

If you're listed as the bug contact, or you're a member of a team that is a bug contact, for a package or project you'll automatically receive email about updates to any bugs relating to that package or project.

To receive notifications about a milestone in a project, a distribution (e.g. Ubuntu) or a package or project for which you're not a bug contact, click ```Subscribe to bugmail``` in the ```Actions``` menu on the milestone, project, package or distribution bugs overview page.
